Unusual Event Spaces

The University of Virginia’s Rotunda has been a work-in-progress from the beginning. Designed by the University’s founder, Thomas Jefferson, the Rotunda is the centerpiece of the Academical Village.

In fall 2025, the Alumni Association is excited to begin construction on a new Alumni Hall. Alumni Hall reservations will remain closed through June 30, 2027.

The Fralin makes its facilities available for rental to community members, to increase public awareness and generate revenue to support the Museum's educational programming and general operations.

The Mary and David Harrison Institute is dedicated to enhancing knowledge and understanding of American history, literature, and culture through the use of original sources.

John Paul Jones Arena provides both world-class entertainment and state-of-the-art meeting and conference spaces that can be configured to facilitate meetings, retreats, trade shows, and parties.

Historic Morven Farm, with its Main House, Meeting Barn, Old Kitchen, Stone House, Japanese Garden and House, and Formal Gardens, provide a unique platform for educational and charitable events.

Newcomb Hall, the University's student center, houses a ballroom, movie theatre, dining facilities, meeting spaces, and lounges, hosting events like dinners, speaking engagements, and resource fairs.

Thomas Jefferson’s plan for the University of Virginia included ten pavilions with garden spaces to serve as classrooms and faculty residences. The Gardens offer beautiful and unique event settings.

Charlottesville and its surrounding area are home to historic properties, orchards, vineyards, breweries, cideries, and distilleries. An abundance of beautiful and memorable sites are available.
