Can dorm room beds be delofted?

All of our dorm rooms have lofted XL twin beds, the lofted beds are not ideal for everyone. Please consider this if you have guests for whom this may not be the ideal arrangement. Due to the furniture configuration and size of the room, beds cannot always be delofted to standard bed height. If someone in your party requires a special accommodation, please note this in the special requests section of your reservation. If you have already submitted your reservation, please contact Conferences@UVA at conferences@virginia.edu. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
