We are happy to offer on-Grounds housing for the 2023 Revisiting Religion and Place Institute to be held at the University of Virginia.
Room reservations are available beginning on Sunday, June 4, 2023, with the latest check-out at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
The deadline to reserve on-Grounds housing for this program is Sunday, May 21.
Accommodations
Bond House
For those looking for an affordable, no-frills alternative to a hotel, we are offering single-occupancy bedrooms in shared upperclass apartment-style dorms in the newer Bond House apartments. Bond is just off Jefferson Park Avenue in the South Lawn neighborhood, next to the new Student Health and Wellness Building and only a short walk from the University of Virginia's Lawn and Central Grounds.
Bond offers air-conditioned, open floorplan apartments with a living area, full kitchen, dining island, and two full bathrooms. Each bedroom is equipped with a full-sized bed (not a twin-sized bed), desk, dresser, and closet. Your reservation pays for one private bedroom in a four-bedroom apartment. Guests will share an apartment with up to three other Institute participants of the same gender.
Per-night rate: $45.00 per person, per night + 5.3% sales tax

Parking
Parking permits are available for an additional fee and are required for those who will be bringing a car.
To obtain a digital permit, please contact UVA Parking and Transportation at 434.924.7231 during their business hours of 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Please specify that you are a participant in the Revisiting Religion and Place Institute and will be staying at Bond House. Payment by credit or debit card will be required at the time of purchase.
Reservations
You will be provided with a reservation code which you will need to make your room reservation. All reservations must be made online with a valid credit card. Payment is due when you make your reservation.

Changes and Cancellations
Use the 2023 Room Reservations Change and Cancellation Form to make any changes to your existing reservation. Be sure to select "Revisiting Religion and Place" and the correct session in the dropdown box beside "Program Associated with this Reservation." Please see the form for cancellation fees and policies.
